Our delta green operator has asked us to meet in a pizza shop - Agent Conrad is running late.
Elias (Julius) wants to speak with the rest of the group, and discover what the rest of the characters bring to the table. (Recap of Elias character sheet occurs) - we see a hat with a Sniper Scout logo on it.
Septimus Podgers (Jason) tells the group he's from England, was involved in an incident with no many survivors, and at the end of it he lost his memory. All he knows is he is a fortune teller, and believes he can help resolve issues with spirits & help with move on. Getting divorced from his wife & little boy, as he doesn't remember them. (added to character sheet) - Jude (January) she doesn't believe the story.
Jude (January) informs the group she is a married Spanish lady, working for the FBI, and has one kid. Lives in the area, very career driven.
Natalie (Jazzy) & Apollo goes next. Not been with Apollo for long, been involved FBI & training courses.
James (Judge) doesn't engage with the group as expected. Short, vague answers given, disinterested.
Agent Conrad arrives. Tells the group he is going to show them where they should store items that need secured. Explains how the green box system works & if we create a new cache, we should inform Delta Green. We are given a map & told to take the boxes from Conrad's car & deposit them in the secure location.
James once again takes the map and gets us lost.... again.
The Secure location is out in the outskirts of town. We go to the location, but the padlock is open already. We go inside & find the floor covered in blood.
James (Judge) stealths, and begins to trail the blood. Apollo indicates the blood is of human origin.
The rest of group is a mix of stealthed & cartwheels.
The group tracks the blood to a forklift, and further beyond. We hear someone trying to break into a locker. "Don't go dying on me! Stay with me" is heard coming from around the corner. "Stay with me! I swear we stored something here"
We approach them, and the man throws his wallet at us. Jude (January) opens it. The wallet shows the ID as "Agent Cornwell" (Actually Agent Oscar)
Septimus Podgers (Jason) begins giving first aid to the man on the floor. James (Judge) cocks his gun, but the group identifies them as members of Delta Green, cell division O. They are Agent Oscar, Agent Oswald, Agent Oliver and Agent Ophelia.
Elias (Julius) finds Agent Ophelia in back room, covered in blankets screaming about venom. She vomits. Elias makes Ophelia pass out during first aid. The woman is naked, deeply bruised.
Septimus Podgers (Jason) attempts first aid on Agent Oswald, but makes it worse. Natalie (Jazzy) also makes it worse.
James (Judge) is unlucky, and is unable to find first aid in a locker he opens, but does find fire axes. Then gets lucky, and finds a first aid kit but it's aged. A lucky modified roll applies some first aid to Agent Oswald, stabilising him. Natalie (Jazzy) takes the speed from the kit as James doesn't want it.
Natalie (Jazzy) finds a lock picking kit.
Jude (January) find scuba gear with oxygen tanks.
Septimus Podgers (Jason) gives Agent Ophelia some first aid, and identifies she is having an allergic reaction. James (Judge) gives adrenaline to Septimus, who gives it to Agent C. She screams, and her body swells, her bones popping. Septimus Podgers (Jason) & Elias (Julius) experience Sanity rolls, and succeed.
Ophelia thrashes to the ground, her wrist breaks. Elias tries to hold her down. She then jumps to the ceiling, then scuttles down to the floor. Another Sanity roll, Elias taking a small amount of damage & Septimus taking a slightly larger amount.
What was Ophelia then sheds her skin, leaving behind a wet and slimy, long and spindly mass, akin to a human sized spider. (Thanks Meggo!) Elias (Julius) takes a large amount of sanity damage, but is too dumb to fully know what has just happened. He shoots at the creature, doing damage. Septimus Podgers (Jason) also takes sanity damage, shouts "OH MY GOD THAT'S NOT OPHELIA ANYMORE" and damages the creature. - the rest of the group is alerted to the incident.
The spider-like creature lunges, attempting to bite the two, but misses.
Elias (Julius) fires at the spider-like creature again, damaging it further, but the skin is hardening & proving to be resistance to fire arms.
James (Judge) moves towards the locker with the scuba gear.
Natalie (Jazzy) moves up towards the racket.
Septimus Podgers (Jason) attempts to shot it again, dealing no damage as it deflects off the armour.
The spider-like creature lunges, attempting to bite Elias (Julius), and sinks it's fangs into him as he is unable to dodge away. The world goes funny for Elias, paralysing him.
Jude (January) sticks with Apollo.
James (Judge) throws a tank of oxygen at the spider. Takes a small amount of sanity damage.
Natalie (Jazzy) shoots at the tank, but misses. Takes a small amount of sanity damage.
Septimus Podgers (Jason) shoots at the tank, hits, causing it to explode. Both him & Elias (Julius) take 6 points of damage. The spider is still standing.
Jude (January) hears the explosion. The voice behind her goes "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT" - She takes a chuck of sanity damage. She attempts to shoot the creature, but misses.
James (Judge) takes a shot at the spiders eye, but misses.
Natalie (Jazzy) shoots at the spider, damaging it slightly.
Jude (January) hid with the dog.
Agent Oliver shots it with a shotgun, doing a lot of damage to it. Some legs fall off, eyes are damaged.
James (Judge) takes a shot at the spiders eye, but misses.
Natalie (Jazzy) shoots at the spider, missing.
Septimus Podgers (Jason) shoots at the spider, missing.
Jude (January) hid with the dog.
Agent Oliver shoots it with a shotgun, misses.
James (Judge) takes a shot at the spiders eye, but misses.
Natalie (Jazzy) shoots at the spider, killing it with a critical shot to the brain.
With What Was Ophelia dead, Natalie (Jazzy) quizzes Agent Oliver. They had been investigating victims in Virginia. Lots of men had died from excessive spider bites, which was traced back to a domestic violence refuge for women. Ophelia was sent in undercover. She passed her contact with them, and Oscar let his personal feelings get in the way and went in. He was romantically entangled with Ophelia. In the tangle, Oswald was stabbed and injured. They then made their way to the Storage location
Agent Oliver takes Agent Oswald to the hospital, and then returns to deal with Agent Oscar. Alpha Cell is contacted to dispose of What Was Ophelia
